Transport

Transport

Hello!
While traveling in Kyrgyzstan, the best thing to do is to know how to get to your destination. Let's talk about how you can “catch” public transport and how to behave in order not to get into some troubles. Now we will analyze all those types of transport that are used by the residents of Kyrgyzstan.

  1. Minibus is also known as marshrutka. Minibus carries passengers along the established route. For each stop, there is a minibus number. The cost of a minibus from up to 9 p.m. is 10 soms after 9 p.m – 12 soms.
  2. Buses like minibuses have numbers and specific way of movement. But they are bigger than minibuses and unlike minibuses that operate until 12:00, buses go up to 10 p.m. The fare is 8 soms.
  3. Trolleybuses are much larger and more convenient, but also have their drawbacks. Due to the fact that they are big they drive slowly and the interval between them is 10-20 minutes. The fare is 8 soms.
  4. We can’t say much, but it’s preferable to call a taxi from any of the services in this area. Since catching a taxi on the street will cost you more, and paying for a taxi will be by the meter.

By the way, we have certain etiquette in public transport: to give place to elders, pregnant women and women with children, and people with disabilities! Also be careful with pocket thieves! Try to drive on any vehicle and choose the one you like.
In case you do not want to travel by public transport you can rent a car. The most popular cars in Kyrgyzstan are Lexus, BMW, Toyota, Honda and Mercedes - Benz.
In addition to renting, you will also have to follow the rules of the road. Consider a couple of rules so you can avoid problems.

  • It is better to rent a car in advance, since the tourist season begins from June 20 to September 20 and it is highly likely that there will be no cars for rent.
  • The driver must be over 18 but under 64 years old.
  • Payment can be made in dollars, soms or euros.
  • You cannot drive while intoxicated. Allowed blood alcohol rate is 0.
  • The driver must pass pedestrians.
  • Observe the speed limit. In cities and villages, the speed limit is from 40 to 60 km / h. Between the villages 90 km / h
  • Headlights must be on when driving outside cities and villages, even on the brightest summer day.
  • In case of accidents, immediately call the police and be sure to the company representative from whom you rented a car.

Choosing our company we will provide you with all the necessary services of the transport:
02-03 pax – Mitsubishi Delica
04-10 pax – 1 Mercedes Sprinter
11-21 pax – 2 Mercedes Sprinters
22+ pax – Big Bus or several Mercedes Sprinters
All the drivers of our company are professionals, but even so it’s worth considering that a big bus may not travel everywhere. The roads of Kyrgyzstan are mountainous and winding, bus just can’t pass it. Bus can ride only to these places: only around the city, in Almaty, around Issyk Kul, and a bit of Torugart.
Don't worry we can add any transport for your travel.
