It is not a secret for travelers that Kyrgyzstan is a mountainous country and that there are a lot of lakes and rivers in spite of the fact that this country has no access to the sea or ocean. In Kyrgyzstan, there are about 2,000 lakes. There are large enough and small that hidden like jewels, which are invisible on the map.
The largest and most accessible lakes in Kyrgyzstan for travel are: Issyk Kul, Son Kul, Chatyr Kul and Sary Chelek.
Lake: Issyk Kul

Information: The second largest highland lake is 1609m above sea level and its depth is 668 m. The lake does not freeze in winter hence the name "hot lake".
Lake: Son Kul

There are more than 40,000 rivers in Kyrgyzstan. And many of them are suitable for rafting.
River: Naryn (616 km)
River: Talas (294 km)
River: Chui (Chу) (221 km)
River: Kara Darya (189 km)
River: Sary Jaz (165 km)
River: Chatkal (155 km)
River: Kyzyl Suu (128 km)
River: Kekemeren (108 km)
Kyrgyzstan is a country for fans of rafting, as there are routes, both for professionals and beginners in this case. Since many rivers are close enough to Bishkek, i.e. to the capital, you can easily find different tours suitable for your skills. Also your impressions of violent rivers can be supplemented by an equally interesting horse riding.
Mostly tours where you can enjoy rafting take place on the Chu River only in different places.
For example, the alloy in Chui Valley takes 1.5 hours of 19 km long. The complexity of the alloy here is two to three points on the international six-point system. Here you can discover such entertainment as rafting.
The alloy along the same river Chu but already in the Boom gorge already takes more than 1 day long of 25 km. Here you will definitely be able to enjoy adrenaline, as the complexity here is slightly more, 4 points on a six-point system.
You can also try an alloy along the Chon Kemin River that starts from the Cake Kul Bridge runs first down the valley section, then in the Kapchagai Gorge. After the flow of Chon Kemin into the Chu River, the alloy will continue to the tent camp near the village of Cholok. It takes 2 days and is 23km long.
But the most experienced can try to make an alloy on the Sarah Jazz River the complexity of which is six points.
Of course, in addition to rivers such as Chu and Sary Jaz, Kyrgyzstan has many other rivers ideal for rafting: Naryn, Chatkal, Kekemeren and many others.
