ABOUT ME

Hi, friends!

My name is Cholpon. I grew up in a small town of Naryn in the south-eastern part of Kyrgyzstan. From the early ages my passion was to travel and discover new places. I enjoyed showing around to my friends and teachers who came from abroad to teach English. Further I entered the University to study linguistics but to connect my life with tourism it was not enough. Therefore I went through special courses of guiding by local mentors in Bishkek who run tourist agencies. This is how I got involved into this world of adventures and new experiences.

Mongolia FAQ

Mongolia, an East Asian nation enveloped by land, is celebrated for its expansive steppes, nomadic heritage, and profound history intrinsically linked to the iconic Genghis Khan. Despite a relatively low population density, the state presents some of the most captivating and pristine natural landscapes globally, encompassing deserts, mountains, and grasslands. Ulaanbaatar, its capital city, acts as both the cultural and economic heart, harmoniously blending contemporary elements with ancient customs and identified as the destination of the most amazing routes along the tours.

Among the local area, prominent tourists’ attractions are:

* Gobi Desert: A vast arid expanse characterized by sand dunes, distinctive fauna, and abundant fossil sites.

* Karakorum: The historical capital of the Mongol Empire, housing the Erdene Zuu Monastery.

* Lake Khövsgöl: One of the world's largest freshwater lakes, situated in the northern region.

* Terelj National Park: Renowned for its dramatic rock formations and opportunities for outdoor pursuits.

* Genghis Khan Statue Complex: The world's largest equestrian statue, dedicated to Mongolia's renowned conqueror.

The country is lauded for its spectacularly diverse terrain, ranging from the imposing Altai Mountains in the west to the sprawling Gobi Desert in the south.  The country is predominantly composed of steppe regions, which sustain a traditional nomadic lifestyle and may be seen by all of the guests during traveling. Mongolia's low population density and vast open spaces provide travelers with a sense of serenity and adventure.
