Tour 3: Dune Tour
Duration: 8 days
In short: Almaty −Issyk − Altyn Emel − Saty − Kaindy − Kolsai 2 − Charyn − Almaty

Day 1: Almaty
Dearest guests, our team is happy to welcome you to travel in Kazakhstan and especially in the southern capital – Almaty. Today everyone is going to get maximum details about the city and all of the attractions worth the attention. One of the first sites we are going to show is the Green Bazaar. Here in order to get the needed product you can bargain! Then the 6 hours tour continues and the group visits the Panfilov Park and makes a view of the Zenkov Cathedral. And of course the guides will show the Kok-Tobe hill, with a mountain road leading to the Kok-Tobe Park. The park is presented by the great amount of paths for wandering and enjoying pristine natural views. Then the night will be organized in the hotel.

Day 2: Almaty – Issyk – Almaty
The first deal of the day is to have breakfast and then to go for a walk. Enjoy the territories and at 11:00 the group starts a long trip, of 7 hours. During this time everyone is going to listen to the details of the amazing gorges of the Trans-Ili Alatau as the Issyk Gorge is right on the Kuldja tract. We are going to see the picturesque lake, Issyk Lake. At the territory of it there is the memorial to the “Golden Man” of the Saka period. Also, it is the time to visit the famous State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “ISSYK”. Here the artifacts can be seen and various elements of the weapon and horse equipment can be taken in attention. The way goes at the height of 1756m above sea level. The mountain lake is cool, due to the heights. It was created 10000 years ago, the earthquake made a dam of 300m. It is high time to have a rest and just to enjoy the harmony of the atmosphere. The night will be in the hotel.

Day 3: Almaty – Altyn Emel
The third day is devoted to the way to the Tamgaly Tas. As the way takes time, we start at 8:00. The site is located on the Ili River being the interesting monument which can show us the ancient times, with the pictures of the Buddha and various lines of the text in Tibetan, Kalmyk and all other languages. We can’t say the details of the emergence of the pictures, it is unknown. But there is a supposition that it was the time of 150 years ago. The unique site opens us the opportunities to see Kazakhstan of the medieval times. Then we take a way to the Baschi River with a lunch in the hotel.
The next destination of the day is Altyn Emel National Park, the Singing Dune. The last one is about 120m high and 3 km long. Actually it appeared between the Big and Small Kalkan mountains. The name is a “speaking one”. When the winds start to blow, the pure sand starts to sing. It resembles the music of the organ. When there is a storm, the sounds resemble the drum sounds. Getting to the top it is possible to view the spellbinding panoramic view. Talking about the outskirts, from the south there are mountains Sogety and Boguty of the Ketmen range, from the west the hills of the Big Kalkan and from the east the Small Kalkan slopes. And in the north the ranges of the Djungarian Alatau mountains, Chulak mountain, Matai and Altyn-Emel. The day ends with a dinner and the night in the boarding house.

Day 4: Altyn Emel
Today there will be an early breakfast, at 7:30. Then the group will be taken to see Aktau and Katutau mountains. After the picnic you are going to make a better investigation of the Katutau Mountains meaning Harsh Mountains in translation. The mountains are very ancient and it is better to be extremely careful here. The breed of the mountains started to be fragile due to the impact of nature. Also they are of interesting shapes and forms. In the grounds of the  Aktau Mountains, or White Mountains, there can be found remains of the animal of the ancient times, of about 25-30 million years old. The mountains, their form resemble us the Egyptian pyramids. Then there will be a route back to the guest house, the dinner is served there.

Day 5: Altyn Emel – Saty – Kaindy
Early in the morning the wanderers are going to have breakfast and then start for the Saty village, the Kolsai Lakes as well. Being there at 12:00 a.m. already, you are going to witness the Kaindy lake which in translation means Birch Lake. There is an abundance of pines and firs at the height of 2000m above sea level. The people consider the lake appeared in 1911 as there was an earthquake here. So that the avalanche created a dam. As it is located high in the mountains, it can be rather cold there and the water is always cool. Being in the country you are highly advised to see this place closer with your own eyes. We get to the Saty in the end of the day and have dinner and night in the guest house.

Day 6: Saty – Kolsai 2
This day is totally devoted to the trip, but first at 07:00 a.m. we have breakfast and then make a trekking tour to the Kolsai-1 and Kolsai-2 lakes. Here there will be lunch and the description of the meaning of the lakes. Mainly they mean "Pearls of the Northern Tien-Shan" as there are three magnificent lakes which territory is also the home for mushrooms and berries. At the same time it is possible to do horse-riding. There are fir trees and high altitude meadows and pastures opening us unforgettable views. Right to the lowest lake it is possible to get on the car. The lakes are pristine, transparent and there is an abundance of fish. What is peculiar, the fish rainbow trout is there and it leaves only in running or spring waters. Moreover, being here in the mountains, guests can see with their own eyes such animals as marals, mountain goats, wolves and even bears. Then we all return to the guesthouse and have dinner there.

Day 7: Saty – Charyn – Almaty
In the last active day we have breakfast and then at 09:00 a.m. are going to see the secrets and mystery of the Charyn Canyon. It resembles us the Grand Canyon of Colorado River in North America. But the views are more amazing and breath-catching. The territory is also the location of the "Valley of Castles" created due to water and wind actions. It is about 2 km long and 80m wide. Being here it is possible to spend time just enjoying the walk along the wild but so fascinating site. At 19:00 p.m. the group gets to the southern capital of the country.

Day 8: Flight
The members of the trip are going to have breakfast and then they need to make a check-out before 12:00. They are taken to the airport.
