Hello everybody! I have prepared an important topic for the guests who want to travel in Kyrgyzstan. These are general requirements for obtaining a visa here.

For citizens of the following countries a visa-free entry regime is established:

Visa-free regime up to 30 days

Citizens of the following countries can obtain visas of the Kyrgyz Republic in a simplified manner:

With regard to citizens of the following countries, holders of diplomatic and service passports, a visa-free regime applies:

Electronic visa to Kyrgyzstan
Foreign nationals can freely obtain an e-visa to Kyrgyzstan on http://www.evisa.e-gov.kg, for which they do not need to gain visa support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan or visit Kyrgyz diplomatic missions abroad. IT IS RECOMMENDED TO VISIT THE FOLLOWED WEBSITE TIME BY TIME IN ORDER TO GET UPDATED INFORMATION AND LEARN MORE ABOUT DOCUMENTS YOU NEED FOR E-VISA.

How to obtain the electronic visa:

• Go to the website http://www.evisa.e-gov.kg and choose your country to get information on the visa obtainment procedure.
• Please, make sure the filled information is correct. In case of any mistakes, your e-visa application will be rejected. There is no refund in case of rejection of e-visa.
• Since all information is verified and application confirmed, you can make your online payment by credit/debit/ card. The card is not required to be under your name. Make sure that your card is open for international transactions.
• The processing time for the e-visa application is 5 working days. The applicant can check their application’s status by entering their personal number in the (Check Status) section.
• A notification of an approval or refusal of the e-visa will be sent to an e-mail specified in the application. In case of a favorable decision the applicant will receive a personal link to the Electronic Visa website, where they can print the e-visa and a special QR-code readable by appropriate mobile applications.
• Regardless of the answer to the visa application the payment for the e-visa is not returned to the applicant.
• The tourist visa (type TS) is valid for 90 days and cannot be extended in the territory of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
• On the website both an individual and a group e-visa to Kyrgyzstan can be obtained. The group tourist visa is issued for a group under 15 people for a period of 1 month.
• Please, avoid buying the air ticket before getting the notice of approval to you the electronic visa.

Presently foreign citizens and stateless persons with electronic visas of the Kyrgyz Republic can cross the State Border of the Kyrgyz Republic at the following international checkpoints.

Note: Your travel document has to be valid for, at least, for 6 (six) months after your e-visa expires.
