Tour 3: Khorezm castle Tour

In short: Tashkent – Nukus – Ayaz Qala – Tuprak Qala – Khiva – Bukhara – Shahrisabs – Samarkand – Tashkent

Day 1: Tashkent
After your land at Tashkent international airport you will find your driver with signboard at meeting area and he will take you to city tour in Tashkent. In the city you will visit Independence square that is the main square of the country. It was placed as a symbol of victory over fascism in World War II. The street between Independence square and Amir Timur square is called Broadway. After walking at the Broadway Street you will take a ride in the famous for its beauty subway among the world – Tashkent metro. In 1977 the first line of the subway was opened. Next aim of the city is its old parts such as a Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex that include several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The most exiting part of the tour is the Othman Quran which considered to be the world’s oldest Quran copy dating back to 8th c. Night you will be spend in the hotel.   Museum collects 20th century

Day 2: Tashkent – Nukus (domestic flight)
You will have flight to Nukus from Tashkent. There you will savor the city's attractions whole day. The Museum of Savitsky is our first stop where you will see the masterpieces of forbidden art. Russian avant-garde paintings of 20th century such as Sokolov, Komarovskiy and Amaravella group gathered there.  The museum collected these artworks by the curator of Karakalpakstan state museum of art. He bought the forbidden by state works from indictable soviet artists and sometimes he got them for free.  He carefully kept them and after sometime he finally presented them in this distant central Asian art-house. Then you will visit Mizdakhan necropolis that used to be ancient city. From 4th century BC till about 14th century AD this area was seized all the time. Chilpyk – Zoroastrian ancient monument that is 2200 years old your next place to admire. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 3: Nukus – Ayaz Qala – Tuprak Qala – Khiva 
Driver will take you to the oldest city in Uzbekistan that has a long story and dazzles sites. The history of the city is closely connected with the history of the mythical Khorezmshah’s State with its capital in Urgench. Khiva was described as a trading center on the Silk Road in the 10th century. The road went to China that’s why caravans stopped here. Whole day the gates were opened and the endless caravans full of camels and luggage on them passed until the sunset. This unique city has been retained and nurtured to pass through generations. Next stop is the two interesting fortresses and its names is Ayaz Qala and Turpak Qala Ayaz Qala is not just a fortress it’s an ancient castle of Khorezm that was named by a Turkic folklore hero who was a warrior-slave. It was built in II century AD. Artav was Korezmian ruler who lived in the royal city- Tuprak Qala. The meaning of its name is Clay fort.  This fortress was built in in 1 or 2-century AD but it was under occupation until 6th century AD. Because of the endless wars and intrusion that emaciated the city there was no life anymore. During the night you will be in Khiva’s hotel.

Day 4: Khiva
Next thing that you will do in Khiva is city tour. You will spend all day admiring a delightful tour for sights in the oldest city of Uzbekistan. It starts from the inner city – Ichan Qala, rounded with strong walls. There are centuries - old buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses transformed Ichan-Qala into unique city-monument. In Ichan-Qala there are more than 400 traditional dwelling and about 60 monuments. In 1969 Ichan-Qala started to be historical and architectural maintaining area. The most incredible part here is Kunya-Ark fortress that was built in the 17th century and discovered by Muhammad Arang Khan. Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, an breathtaking example of Khorezm architectural mastership of 1830s was also found by him. Night is in a hotel.  

Day 5: Khiva – Bukhara
Transfer will be held in early morning to the hypnotic city – Buhara. Bukhara is a “town museum” that has more than 140 architectural monuments. Bukhara is the city that goes to the middle ages. The whole city is made of green and narrow streets, big parks and beautiful gardens, historical and architectural monuments in spite of belonging to different epochs they locate very close to each other. In your tour you will see well known Kizilkum desert. Also you will have a chance to see Amu Darya River that considered to be the deepest river in the Central Asia.  The river formed because of the fusion of the two rivers from Tajiistan – Panj and Vakhsh, and flowing into Aral Sea. In Bukhara you will have free time. The night you will spent in the hotel.

Day 6: Bukhara
To see the beauty of this city it will take whole day. First thing that you will see is citadel that dated to 4th century – Citadel Ark. The most ancient citadel there is used to be a palace for several dynasties Bukhara Empire.   The masterwork of architect belongs to 9th- 10th century is Samanids mausoleum. Next sight is Chasma Ayub or Job’s Well and mosque that consist of forty column named by Abu – Fabyud Khan of Bukhara governer – Bolo – Hauz mosque. Then you will visit Shopping domes and the well-known madrasah of Bukhara – Nodir Divan Begi. Nodir Divan Begi is part that belongs to Lyabi Kalon Ensemble. Last place to visit in Bukhara is Poi Kalon complex. It is a Complex with admirable architecture of art of Bukhara. The complex has three structure (12th- 16th centuries) they are Kalon minaret , Kalon mosque and the last one is Mir Arab Madrasah. Night will be in hotel.

Day 7: Bukhara – Shahrisabs – Samarkand
Amir Timur’s birthplace is your sight here in the town Shahrisabs. There will have the opportunity to see the Ak Saray Palace. There is no such beautiful and magnificent palace and an interesting fact – it was built by Amir Timur. There is an inscription on the main portal of the palace: “If you want to know about our power, look at our buildings" After it you will be able to see Jahongir’s mausoleum oblate to eldest son of the Amir Timur. Jahongir died at the age of 20years. Amir Timur’s grief lasted for a long time many say that it was continued 30 years. The highlighted part oа the tour are the Dorus Siadat and Dorus Tillavat memorial complexes where all Amir Timur’s descendants and relatives were laid to rest.

Day 8: Samarkand
The first thing that you will do is to take tour in Samarkand. Samarkand lays in the valley of the river Zerafshan and considered to be second largest city in Uzbekistan with the age similar to the Babylon or Rome. In Samarkand you will see Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. In your city tour you will see the Madrasahs (15th-17th) that will not leave anyone indifferent because of their glory and breathtaking beauty.  Also there is thу Shakhi – Zindeh included to the UNESKO World Heritage Site. This complex posed as a collection of mausoleums (11th – 15th). One of them was built to one of his favorite wife after hu successful campaign in India and the name of this Mosque is Bibi Khanum.

Day 9: Samarkand – Tashkent
Samarkandcity has a lot of place to see and admire onу ща them is Ulighbek observatory. It was built at the 15th century by him. He was one of the famous ruleк and scientist of Samarkand. Using this observatory he found about 1018 heavenly bodies in his manual “Zidji Guragoni” that he published in 1437. He was killed by his own flesh and blood – his own son. Then you can enjoy your wal in the Broadway Street where you can find a lot of things like souvenir shops, teahouses, sweets and workshops. Don’t forget to visit National bazaar Siab. It’s easy to find    Uzbek traditional handmade products and sweets. Speaking of hand made products you also will visit factory where around 400 women sew handmade carpet. Night is in a hotel.

Day 10: Tashkent – Departure
Breakfast you will have at the hotel. Driver will take you to Tashkent international airport for your flight to next destination.
