My name is Alvina. I was born and grew up in the capital city of sunny Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. My first experience in tourism sphere begun in 2010 when I successfully finished courses of guide-interpreter and I started my adventure discovering the many beauties of my motherland at the heart of Central Asia.

Day 1: Bishkek – Burana – Issyk Kul northern shore
Arriving to Manas International Airport and going to Bishkek the road will take 30-minute from the airport. The first half of the day is for Bishkek City Tour. You will visit Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and many others sights. After this you will go to Issyk Kul Lake, surrounded by the celestial mountains. It’s the second largest mountainous lake in the world with altitude 1608 m. above sea level. The other name of this lake is "the pearl of Central Asia". Issyk Kul’s salty water has medical qualities. You will visit Burana Tower dated back at 11th century minaret and an open air museum of Balbals so called stone warriors. The night will be in a hotel.
Day 2: Issyk Kul – Grigorievskoye – Semenovskoye – Karakol
Your next sight is the most beautiful and breathtaking gorges of the lake named Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye that have connection in the end, this place is part of the national park. You will have opportunity to bask in the highly and great mountains covered with snow at the tops and slopes grown by blue and green pine trees. In the bottom of the gorge you are going to see beautiful lakes. After this the tour goes to the northern shore of the lake to Karakol town. You will see such sights as the Dungan mosque. The most interesting fact is that it was built in a Chinese style without using a single metal tack. Next showplace is an old wooden Orthodox Church. The night is spent in a guesthouse.
Day 3: Karakol – Jeti Oguz – Issyk Kul southern shore – Bishkek
Jeti Oguz gorge is famous for red rocks form that are called seven bulls or Jeti Oguz. By the way you can see there the Broken Heart Mountain. Also we can go on a top of a mountain it will take 20 minutes and there you will be able to enjoy a panorama view of the gorge. The stop will be in Bokonbaeva village. It’s a place where we will meet a local eagle-hunter. Eagle hunts hares and foxes. It is a famous ancient way of hunting animals passed through generations. You will hear many exciting facts and stories about it. Tо drive back to the capital city Bishkek. Hotel for the night.
Day 4: Bishkek – Osh – Guliston – Khudjand
Transferring you to the Manas International airport for a flight to Osh city. In the Osh we will take you to Tajik border. The path of your tour goes over mountains and high passes. There you will pass Batken region and enjoy famous for its apricot trees and unique flower called Aigul. Tajik guide will meet you at the other side and take you to Khujand city. On the way to the lakes there is Anzob pass with altitude 3 372 m that has breathtaking panorama views. The second largest city in Tajikistan is Khujand. City locates on the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. Its population is 149,000. Khujand is the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan, now calls Sughd. You will go to such sites as Cultural Palace of Khujant in the afternoon. There was chosen Tajikistan’s first president. After this we will visit Central Mosque that locates in the center of the city. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 5: Khudjand – Iskanderkul Lake
Our next destination is alpine lake – Iskanderkul with the altitude 2 255 m. a. s. l. This lake locates in the famous Fann Mountains. Such amazing place is one of the best in Central Asia. Here in this lake you will have opportunity to walk along it beaches and enjoy such nature. To see waterfall you are going to hike 30 min. Tajikistan is the country that has second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources. Tajikistan is the country in Central Asian with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. Night will be in a guesthouse.
Day 6: Iskanderkul – 7 lakes – Penjakent
Fan Mountains is your next sites that are most popular hiking areas. Seven Lakes or Marquzor Lakes site where we will have a tour. Here you can have time to go for short hiking. The road leads you to a gorge where 7 lakes are situated. Their locations are on different altitudes and have different colors. You will see locals there that live at that area. It will be good to see their way of life. After hiking we will go to Penjakent. This city is situated in Khujand area of Tajikistan in an amazing and breathtaking Zeravshan river valley. It is possible that the five villages began its history of the great city which was originated in the 5th -8thcenturies AD. Penjikent of that time was one of the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogd. It was even named "Central Asian Pompeii". It was a superbly fortified well-organized city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. The ruins of this ancient city were found only in the last century. Today the tourists can see the remains of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Night is in a local guesthouse.
Day 7: Penjakent – Jartepo – Samarkand
Morning drive to the border at 10 a.m. Then you will go to Samarkand where you will do city tour. Samarkand is in the valley of the river Zerafshan. Also the second largest city of Uzbekistan is Sanarkand. This city is the same age as the city of Babylon or Rome. Today you will find out its most distinguished, attractions such as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square, a complex of three fascinating Madrasahs of 15-17th centuries, is the main punch line of Samarkand that no one has the ability to restrain themselves from admiring such majestic beauty. Architectural complex of Shakhi-Zindeh is a big assemblage of mausoleums of 11th-15 centuries are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque was built for favorite Tamerlane’s wife, after his victorious campaign in India. During the night you will be in a hotel.
Day 8: Samarkand city – Gijduvan – Bukhara
Next trip is to Bukhara. Going there we will stop at Gijduvan village to visit well known private earthenware workshop. Gijduvan ceramics school has its deep roots that are why skills have been passed through generations. Nowadays there live 6th generation of Narzullayevs family who are glorified Gijduvan school ceramics all over the world. Gijduvan School of ceramics is famous for its geometric pattern. Green and blue colors dominate in the product design. Continue our trip to Bukhara. Night is in a hotel.
Day 9: Bukhara
Today you will have a full day city tour in this fascinating city. At first, you will visit the most ancient citadel in Bukhara dating back to the 4th century named Citadel Ark, which served as a palace for several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Then you will see Samanids mausoleum, a real masterpiece of architecture of 9th -10th century. Then the tour continues to Chashma Ayub, meaning Job's well and Bolo-Hauz mosque, known also as the mosque of forty columns built in honor of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. Then you have a chance to walk along the shopping domes and visit one of the most famous madrasahs of Bukhara called Nodir Divan Begi which is also a part of Lyabi House Ensemble, famous central sightseeing of Bukhara. The tour will end with visiting Poi Kalon complex, the unique sample of architectural art of Bukhara. It consists of three structures built in the 12th - 16th centuries: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Night is in a hotel.
Day 10: Bukhara – Khiva
The tour to Khiva starts early in the. Bukhara has a nickname a "town museum" because of the more than 140 architectural monuments of the Middle Ages. The city build in a style that has narrow streets, green parks and fabulous gardens, historical and architectural monuments belong to different epochs, and situates near to each other. When you go to Bukhara from Khiva will go through the famous Kizilkum desert. On your journey you will view the amazing river- Amu Darya. That is known as the deepest river in Central Asia, formed as a result of the confluence of the Panj and Vakhsh rivers in Tajikistan and flows into the Aral Sea. After coming to Khiva you will have free time. Night is in a hotel.
Day 11: Khiva – Urgench – Tashkent
Next thing in your schedule is trip in the oldest city of Uzbekistan in the inner city of Khiva - Ichan-Qala, which rounded with strong walls. Due to such sights as centuries old sound buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses made this place to the city-monument In Ichan-Qala there are about 400 traditional dwelling houses and about 60 architectural monuments. 1969 is the year when Ichan-Qala became a historical and architectural conservation district. Kunya-Ark fortress is main and the greatest attraction here. This fortress was built in 17th century. And the most remarkable site in it is the Kunya-Ark fortress dating back to 17th century, detected by Muhammad Arang Khan. And such sights as Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, and magnificent example of Khorezm architectural craftsmanship of 1830s. In the evening driver will take to Tashkent by flight. Overnight is in a hotel.
