Tour 8: Tour to Bukhara

In short: Tashkent – Bukhara – Farap border

Day 1: Tashkent
Upon arrival, start exciting city tour of capital city to travel in Uzbekistan. Independent Square, which was devoted for the honor of the victory over fascist Germany during World War II. It also the main city square, where all major events take place. Then you will enjoy walking on the main Broadway leading to the Amir Timur Square. While you have sightseeing, there is a possibility to sit on the Tashkent metro. It was started in 1977. The ancient part of town includes Chorsu Bazaar, Madrasah of Kukaldash and famous Hast Imam Complex, which comprise from several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The most significant heritage of Hast Imam is Othman Quran. It the world’s oldest copy of Quran. The owner of holy book was Othman Ibn Affan,who was the Third Caliph of the four decent Caliphs of prophet Muhammad. Later in 8^th century he was assassinated by non-muslims and nowadays you can see his blood stains on the papers of book. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 2: Tashkent – Bukhara (morning flight)
In the morning, you will have Tashkent-Bukhara flight to continue your tour in Uzbekistan. Whole day will be full of interesting sightseeing. You will start day from visiting the oldest citadel in Bukhara. It is Citadel Ark, served as a residence of many dynasties of Bukhara Empires Later you will see a perfect work of 9^th and 10^th century architecture - Samanids mausoleum. Further, you will find yourself in Chashma Ayub, known as a Job’s well. This monument was built for the honor of the city governor Abu-Fayud Khan. Here Bolo-Hauz mosque also has an interesting style. Later you will see Nodir Divan Begi, the most famous madrasahs of old Bukhara and represents one of the remarkable sites of Lyabi House Ensemble.  Lyabi House Ensemble is the outstanding sightseeing in the city. The concluding destination of the day will be Poi Kalon complex, which stands out with its unusual design. It includes three amazing constructions: Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah dating back to 11^th-16^th century. Stay in a hotel.

Day 3: Bukhara – Farap border
In the morning, drive for 110 km to Farab border and carry on your journey in Turkmenistan.
