Tour 1: Short Tour
Duration: 5 days
In short: Tashkent – Samarkand – Bukhara – Tashkent
Day 1: Tashkent – Samarkand
Meeting at the Tashkent International Airport. The driver will transfer you to the capital. The tour will start by visiting the Independence Square dedicated to the victory over fascism during the World War II. Later on you will walk around the local Broadway between Independence Square and Amir Timur square. After that it is recommend driving to the famous Tashkent metro. It is considered to be the most beautiful subways in the world and opened in 1977. The next destination of the tour will pass by driving to the old city where you can visit Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam complex including several madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. The most interesting trip will happen by seeing the sacred Othman Quran. It is the world’s oldest Quran copy found in the 8th century. Afterwards you will be transferred to Samarkand by train. The night in the hotel.
Day 2: Samarkand – Bukhara
Today you will have the city tour of Samarkand. The city is situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan and considered to be the second largest city of Uzbekistan as Babylon or Rome. Then you will have the opportunity to visit interesting sights as Registan square (the site of three amazing Madrasahs found in the 15th and 17th centuries), Shakhi-Zindeh (a big variety of mausoleums found in the 11th and 15th centuries and included to the UNESCO Heritage List), Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque (dedicated to the lovely son of Tamerlane’s wife and after his victory in India). In the evening we will drive to Bukhara by train. Today you will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 3: Bukhara
Today’s destination will be done by having the city tour. In the course of the tour you will visit historical citadel in Bukhara city. It was found in the 4th century and named Citadel Ark where all dynasties of Bukhara Empire ruled. The route will go on by driving to the Samanids mausoleum (9th and 10th centuries). Then you will visit Chashma Ayub( Job's well) and Bolo-Hauz mosque (the mosque of forty columns dedicated to Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan). You will have a chance to visit the shopping domes and madrasahs of Bukhara named Nodir Divan Begi belonging to the Lyabi House Ensemble. It is the famous central sightseeing of Bukhara city. After that we will visit the Poi Kalon complex. It is wonderful architectural art of Bukhara city which includes complexes built in the 12th and 16th centuries as Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. No doubt you will like these interesting places in tours in Uzbekistan. Afterward you will have evening flight (train) to Tashkent city. Overnight will be spent in the hotel.
Day 4: Bukhara – Tashkent
We are glad to present you the next destination of having the tour in Bukhara city. You will have the opportunity to visit Bahauddin Naqshbandi complex. It is located in several kilometers from Bukhara city. It is the famous memorial complex of famous Sufi Leader and Philosopher which was one of the Muslim pilgrimage places for all Muslims. In general Sheikh Bakhauddin Nakshbandii was the spiritual leaders of Amir Timur. The complex consists of mosques as Kushbegi and Muzafarohana, also yard with pool, madrasah and burial vault of Bukhara rulers and Dakhma upon the tomb of Saint Bakhauddin Nakshbandi. After that you will drive to the scenery residence of Bukhara Emirs named Sitorai Mohi Hosa complex. This complex consists of different architectural styles. According to legend Emir gave the name for the palace on behalf of his wife who lost her life in young age by calling “Star - like and moon- like Palace”. Later you will visit the Sumiton village and find the Chor Bakr memorial complex (The Dead Town). The complex presents that all people are equal in this world. Actually this construction was built in the period of Samanids reign until the 16th century. We hope you will like your travels in Uzbekistan. Afterwards you will have a flight to Tashkent. The night will be spent in the hotel.
Day 5: Tashkent – Departure
After a hearty breakfast you will be transferred to Tashkent International Airport and flight for the next destination.
