Tour 8: Tour in a resort town of Awaza
Duration: 4 days
In short: Ashgabat – Awaza – Ashgabat
Day 1: Ashgabat
Your guide will meet you at the airport and you will drive to Ashgabat to begin your tours. Today you will explore the city and visit the most interesting places of it. Ashgabat, capital of Turkmenistan, is proud of green parks, marble-faced public buildings and majestic mosques. In the afternoon, we will discover “Old Nisa”, the Sanctuary of Parhian Kings, which was included into the list of UNESCO. Then drive to Gyprak village to see President’s Mosque and Mausoleum. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2: Ashgabat – Awaza
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to domestic airport to travel further. Here you will take flight to Turkmenbashy. The schedule for flight is changeable. After arrival to Turkmenbashy, you will drive to Awaza, which is pretty resort town along the eastern seashore of Caspian Sea. It is located only 12 km from Turkmenbashy, which is formerly Krasnovodsk. From local language, Awaza means “the shore of the singing waves”. It is really has amazing beaches and 30 kilometers of transparent sand coast. Warm water, lavish sun and healing air will make you happy. You will spend night in Awaza.
Day 3: Awaza – Ashgabat
Today you will return to Ashgabat and take morning flight from Turkmenbashy. In the afternoon, Nisa has the remains of ancient settlement. It was the capital city of famous Parthian State during 1,000 B.C. and 1,000 A D. Then the interesting city tour awaits you in Ashgabat. You will start from popular Russian Bazaar, the local name Gulistan. It is the biggest indoor bazaar in Turkmenistan and situated in the middle of the city. This colorful market was constructed as a part of "Ashgabat Reconstruction Program of 1970-1980." In the period of 1972-1982. The main architect was Vladimir Visotin. The building belongs to Soviet Modernism style and Turkmen sculptor Klych Yarmamedov did some decorations. He made beautiful abstract ornament, which is place in one side of the building. It was recently renovated with modern changes like new outlets, shops and food stalls. Furthermore, it was covered by white marble. Enjoy free time in the evening. Overnight in a hotel.

In the morning, your guide will accompany you to the airport. End of travel.
