Tour 7: Sary Chelek Tour

In short: Bishkek – Toktogul – Sary Chelek – Osh – Irkeshtam Chinese border or Kyzyl Art Tajik border

Day 1: Bishkek
Your local driver will take you from airport and you will drive short to Bishkek. Today you will enjoy the city tour full of architectural and cultural sites of the greenest city Bishkek.  The massive Pobeda Square (Victory Square) was built for the honor of victory over fascism. Old Park will hide you from the summer heat and Central Square will welcome you with graceful public buildings around. Finally, you will have interesting excursion in the National Museum of Arts will. After museum e, we will take you to fast-moving, picturesque Asian Bazaar. In Bazaar you feel the vibrant life of the local traders selling fresh fruits, buttery breads and other goodies. Furthermore, in bazaar you can find traditional crafts, famous in Kyrgyzstan. Night will be in a hotel.

Day 2: Bishkek – Toktogul
Today you will start your tour to countryside. It will be at the largest reservoir of country. The way will go through the breathtaking landscape. Drive via Tue Ashuu Pass, which is over 3000 meters above sea level. On the way, you will see many yurts, traditional nomadic dwellings at the Suusamyr valley. It is admirably beautiful place hosting nomadic families grazing their livestock in summer time. In winter, there is popular ski resort. Further, continue your travel via Chychkan gorge, where white mountain river flows and covered with Tien Shan fir tree. Night is in a guesthouse.

Day 3: Toktogul – Sary Chelek
In the morning, you will drive via beautiful way to Sary Chelek Lake to have a tour. It is one of the magnificent mountain lakes. Nowadays it is National reserve and lies at the foothills Chatkal mountain range. The elevation of lake is 1 873 m. the size of the lake is 234m deep, 2,280m wide and 7,500m long. It was appeared in the result of earthquake. Magnificent mountains and evergreen trees mirrored on the surface of the water. The area of Sary Chelek rich in diverse flora and fauna, there are 300 species of plants, 32 species of trees, 80 types of bushes, 38 species of animals and 157 species of birds. Mesmerizing beauty of the lake will make you admire during your travel in Kyrgyzstan. Stay in a homestay.

Day 4: Sary Chelek – Osh
Today you will depart to Osh. In Djalal Abad, there is archeological and architectural complex of Uzgen. It is ruins of the old city of Karahanids during 11^th century. The complex consist of several mausoleums and one minaret, beautifully decorated in brick art. After arrival to Osh, visit the holy Suleiman Mountain. According to the legend, Suleiman Too is famous as a Solomon’s Mountains. In the legend, the body of the Suleiman Prophet was buried at the foothills of mountain. Nowadays, it is the popular place of worship for Muslim in Kyrgyzstan. Night in a hotel.

Day 5: Osh – Irkeshtam Chinese border or Kyzyl Art Tajik border
After early breakfast, depart to Irkeshtam border. The way will go through mountain pass, which is 3 615 meters high.
