Tour 1: Historical Land Tour

In short: Dushanbe – Norak – Romit gorge – Dushanbe

Day 1: Dushanbe
You will be met and transferred to Dushanbe. City tour will take whole day and you will visit Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. And the main sight of the tour - Hisor fortress. This fortress dated back to VII–XVII centuries and has walled areas and citadel. Previously Hisor fortress was residence of the delegate of the Emir of Bukhara. It was located on a high hill and was well protected by walls 1 m thick and loopholes for guns and cannons. Inside of the fortress were pool and a garden and across from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. Also you can see such wonderful sights as the recently restored monuments of “Madrasa I Kuhna” dated back to 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” dated back to 16th century. Then we will visit Botanical garden and Victory Park with a panorama view on the city. Overnight is in hotel.

Day 2: Dushanbe – Norak – Dushanbe
Today your destination is Norak reservoir, also well known as Tajik Sea. The road will go through Shuraba pass 2 267 m high and along Afghanistan border. This area is very interesting due unique mountains – Pamir Mountains. During centuries Pamir Mountains attracted manyof the greatest explorers – Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. And now you also have a chance to travel here.  You will see Pyanj River during your drive. It is natural border. After visiting it travelers started to say that Pamir Mountains is the giant mountain system of the ocean of white and blue mountains. Transfer back to Dushanbe. This night is in a hotel.

Day 3: Dushanbe – Romit gorge – Dushanbe
Romit gorge is your sight for today. Here you are going to see Tajik mountains and mountain rivers. This gorge is good for hiking due to it you will see breathtaking beauty of our mountains. You will have a chance to bath in the groove of Sulphur springs. Driving back to Dushanbe. Overnight is in hotel.

Day 4: Flight
In the morning is transfer to airport.
