Tour 3:  Hiking Tour
Duration: 6 days
In short: Dushanbe – Seven lakes – Penjakent – Iskanderkul – Romit gorge – Dushanbe 

Day 1: Dushanbe
You will be met and transferred to Dushanbe. City tour will start with Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. You will drive 35 km to Hissor fortress of VII–XVII centuries. This sight has walled territory and citadel. The delegate of the Emir of Bukhara lived there. This was located on a high well protected by walls 1 m thick and loopholes for guns and cannons. In the fortress there were pool and a garden and across from the fortress there was a busy market square with a caravan serai and shops. Only the entrance gate with two impressive towers little has been preserved from the fortress. There are sites in Hisar: the recently restored monuments of “Madrasa I Kuhna” it is new school of 16th-17th centuries, mosque; the mausoleum of “Mahdumi Azam” of 16th century. Then we will visit Botanical garden and Victory Park with a panoramic view on the city. Night is in a hotel. 

Day 2: Dushanbe – Seven lakes
You will drive to Fann Mounains. Your route goes through Anzob pass 3 372 m high with amazing panorama views. Fann Mountains are very popular among hikers. Continue drive to   Seven Lakes. This lake is located about 60 km south of Panjakent. Here you will have short hiking in the gorge where 7 lakes are located. Lakes are situated at different heights with different colors.  You will meet local people and learn more about their lifestyle, traditions and cuisine. Night is in the hotel.

Day 3: Seven lakes – Penjakent
Today your destination is Penjakent or five villages. The road goes through Shahriston pass 3 378 m high. This city is located in Khujand area of Tajikistan in a picturesque Zeravshan river valley. There is a high possibility that history of this wonderful city of 5th-8th centuries AD. In that time Penjakent was one of the most significant city of Sogd. It had another name- "Central Asian Pompeii". It was a splendidly walled well-organized city with the ruler’s palace, two temples, markets, rich residential buildings, decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. Remains of this city were found in the last century. Today you can see survived remnants of that amazing city such as dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. Overnight is in hotel.

Day 4: Penjakent – Iskanderkul – Dushanbe
Today you will drive to Iskanderkul Lake that is situated on 2 255 m. a. s. l. in the famous Fann Mountains. It is the most popular territory of the Central Asia. On the lake you will have a walk along the beaches. To see waterfall you need to hike 40 minutes. Tajikistan on the second place among the CIS countries for volume of water resources: it has the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. After having the rest near the lake we will drive to Dushanbe. Night is in a hotel. 

Day 5: Dushanbe – Romit gorge – Dushanbe
Romit gorge is your destination today. You will see gorgeous Tajik mountains and mountain rivers. On the gorge you will go hike to see the mighty of our mountains. You will learn more about customs and traditions of Tajik people. There is the high possibility to bath of our mountains. Then drive back to Dushanbe. Overnight is in hotel. 

Day 6: Flight
In the morning is transfer to airport.
