ABOUT ME

Hi, friends!

My name is Cholpon. I grew up in a small town of Naryn in the south-eastern part of Kyrgyzstan. From the early ages my passion was to travel and discover new places. I enjoyed showing around to my friends and teachers who came from abroad to teach English. Further I entered the University to study linguistics but to connect my life with tourism it was not enough. Therefore I went through special courses of guiding by local mentors in Bishkek who run tourist agencies. This is how I got involved into this world of adventures and new experiences.

In the morning, the most enjoyable part of the tour awaits you. Travel to town Khorog, which is the smallest city in Tajikistan surrounded by massive mountains all around. Khorog is located on the confluence of three river, where Shokhdara river and Ghund river join to Pyanj River. On the way, you will have a chance to meet Pamir people, who are the ancient inhabitants of these mountains. The anthropological characteristics of Pamiris differ from Tajik people. Most of the Pamir people are with light skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. By the way, Pamir is the second populated mountainous area after Himalayas in Tibet. Probably, the highland lifestyle of the Pamiris make them different from Tajik peoples. Night in a guesthouse.

The whole day will be spent in Khorog. Botanical Garden will be the first site to discover during your tours in Tajikistan. The rivers rounded the town and makes very good environment for gardening of the area to help travelers rest well. The average elevation of Pamir is between 3500 m and 4200 m. it is one of the rare place in the world, where inhabitants of this place could preserve the real ethnic and cultural traditions and not all travelers can bear it.
